What does "per major version" mean?
Your license covers the current major version (e.g. v1.x). All minor and patch updates are free. When a new major version ships (e.g. v2.0), you can upgrade at a discounted price or keep using your current version indefinitely.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. The Community Edition is free for personal, educational, and non-commercial use with no time limit. It includes all core features except the AI assistant, which requires a commercial license.
Do I need a subscription for the AI assistant?
The AI assistant is included with commercial licenses. You bring your own API key from any of the 14 supported providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, Cohere, and more).
How does the Suite compare to buying individually?
